Over the last decade, when Watson Wyatt referred to Talent Management practices in terms of the Total Return to Shareholders (TRS), they described practices that spanned the traditional pillars of Talent Management. They found that companies that combined performance and compensation management practices were associated with a 16.5%-21.5% in TRS. Combining recruitment and retention of key skills was found to add a further 5.4%-14.6% increase in TRS.
