We are looking for someone with a passion for customers to join our professional services team. You will be the prime technical interface with customers on many fronts:

• Working with them to understand both their talent management needs and their IT infrastructure in order to configure their talent management solution
• Configuring, installing and supporting the installation of the solution (which may be outside regular business hours)
• You are the second line of technical support, trouble shooting customer's database problems, and delivering resolutions. This position requires superior problem solving skills to deliver rapid resolution of customer issues escalated from the first line support team
• You will also be called upon to support the sales team and provide technical product demonstrations

Key responsibilities:

• Participate in configuration meetings with customers to gather requirements for configuring the software, and then configuring, delivering, installing (if required) and supporting the installation of the software
• Document and maintain all processes and procedures that are needed in professional services to configure, install and trouble shoot new customer installations or upgrades - both enterprise customers and hosted customers
• Work directly with customers to implement solutions for their specific requirements providing consulting professional services to customize software or the libraries or anything that is not new product development
• Define project scope and estimate implementation effort
• Provide second line support through investigating problems reported by customers and which may require diplomatic customer interaction
• Develop scripts to resolve customer problems
• Develop test plans and test all configurations and scripts that are delivered to the customer, create customer release notes as required
• Technical resource for sales and for first line support
• This role requires flexibility in working hours as customer installations are usually done in off-hours
• Follow all development processes
• All activities (professional services, support, development, sales support) captured appropriately in CRM system (salesforce.com)
• Follow up post task to ensure customer satisfaction
• When required, provide technical support for sales activities, e.g., assist with technical proposals preparation, technical demonstrations
